We have already
mentioned that the fig leaf has a beneficial effect on the body, but we should
not neglect the fruit that is both healthy and should be used in the diet.

Fig jam
Ingredients:
- 1kg figs
- 400 g sugar
- 4 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 2 bourbon vanilla sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons of rum
Preparation:
Peal the skin of about 800 g of figs, add the sugar and lemon juice and leave overnight in the refrigerator.
Put in the pot, partially chop it with stick blender and cook it on low heat, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour. Ten minutes before the end add cinnamon, vanilla sugar and rum.
Fill warmed jars and leave in the turned off oven to cool down.
BALLS WITH FIGS
Ingredients:
- 500 g dried figs
- 150 g sugar
- grated rind and juice of one orange
Preparation:
Grind in the meat machine 500 g of figs. Then add 150 g of sugar, grated rind and juice of one orange. Knead it well, make small balls size of the walnuts, and every ball roll in powder sugar.
WAFER WITH FIGS
Ingredients:
- 500 g dried figs
- 200g raisins
- 400 g sugar
- 2 dl water
- 4 wafers sheets
- 250g icing sugar
- 250 g butter
- 250 g walnuts
Preparation:
Gring figs and grapes in the meat machine. Stir the sugar and water on the heat until it becomes syrup and then add milled figs. Remove from stove and add the walnuts. Divided the custard into two parts and put each part in between two sheets of wafers. Whisk well butter and icing sugar, and put between two filled wafers.
